The impact of Yoido
- In September 1977, Full Gospel Church established Full Gospel Seminary in LA and eventually locations in Germany, New York, and Japan.
- Dr. Cho spoke at President Regan's 40th inauguration recognizing him as a global minister.
- Church Growth International, or CGI, was a research institute formed to examine and analyze Yoidos growth hosting hundred of seminars and 6 million plus visitors in over 50 countries.
- The sharing of sermons through booklets, tapes, and broadcasts. Domestic TV stations include Daejeon, Gwangju, Jeonju, and Masan MBC Stations on Sundays, Fridays, and Saturdays. International TV Stations include the Los Angeles TV station in the U.S., CBS station in New York, and Gingki and Sun Stations in Japan.
- The prayer rally for the nation and people with over 1 million attendees
- The "Elim Welfare Town," the most significant social welfare facility in Asia for disadvantaged and unaccompanied senior citizens this project was supported by the Ministry of public affairs.
- In December 1988, the Kookmin Daily Newspaper was formed, the first Christian daily newspaper in South Korea.
Yoido's involvement in social welfare programs, media, TV, newspaper, and seminaries, as well as the raising of pastors and missionaries to go outward, has impacted millions upon millions of people as well as allowed for the start of thousands of Churches, missionaries, and Pastors in Korea. Because of Yoido, Evangelical Christianity grew and flourished the way it did in the 21st Century.
