This printed and hand painted image of Jesus being Crucified, is showing us the momensts after he was nailed to the cross, at the bottom of the image you have four of Jesus’s followers mourning his eventual death, while to the left there is a Roman Soldier lifting the sponge drenched in vinegar water up for him to drink. Then in the back there are six other figures in the background.  In the center of the image Jesus hangs from the cross, with his thron crown waiting out his evental death. During this time in England there was a heavy influence of French art and and a growing interest in artist from Wales and their spedif artistic styles, the valued showing landscapes, the environment, and their country styled homes at the time.This version of “The Crucifixtion '' represents the corresponding prayer being said and displays the characteristics of Wales artist and prayer book decoration at the time. The colorful ropes show the interest in color, the detailing of the grass and the mountains show an interest in landscape and environment. Although it was not very common this prayer book was written in Welsh, representing both the interior and exterior Welsh pride and artistry.

This printed image of Jesus being Crucified is an overwhelming and hectic image reflecting the subject matter of God’s son being put to death. At the btoom foregourn of the image you see dozens of Greek soilders working together to put up different crucifixions as well as monitor the ones that are already up. In the small ground of soldiers you can see Mary with her halo watching as her son hangs fron a cross waiting for his inevitable death. In the Center of the image you see Jesus hung up on the cross and next to the left a new person is being put up while the other to his right is hung and waiting for his death as well. Behind him there is a large group of people, both people who favored Jesus and people who did not. These figures are clumped together in a very chaotic way representing the way many people are reacting to Jesus being Crucified. During this time the French had an interest in taking inspiration from the past, nature, creating and showing the supernatural in their art.This image shows the French style of the time, the detailing of the environment.
