Description

From the 1920's, there was a Vladivostok Korean Methodist Church, established by the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, and the Korean diaspora in Far East Russia, also known as Siberia. The fate of this church is unknown after Koreans were deported from Vladivostok in 1937. The Dream of God UMC was founded in 1992, one year after the fall of the Soviet Union. In the second picture, note the Korean woman wearing a hanbok, and dancing to "Arirang." She is a descendant of the Koreans who were deported from Vladivostok, but her family has since returned.
