Jonathan Swift's classic fictional account of the journeys of Lemuel Gulliver. Written as a satire of human nature and of popular traveller's tales. This edition is part of the Everyman Library collection. The cover is red with gold lettering. Published by J.M. Dent and Sons in London and by E.P Dutton and Co in New York. Gulliver's Travels was first published in 1906, and this edition was published in 1940. The book contains images of maps of the fictional territories described in the novel, including “Lilliput”. The maps are interspersed throughout chapters, giving readers background knowledge on the locations that the characters travel to.
