Statue of Byron from left profile, wearing a long cape and seated with left foot leaning on a broken column, holding 'Childe Harold' in his left hand. Pedestal has skull at base and Greek imagery on sides: the owl of Minerva, the eagle of Jupiter, Greek lettering and partial frieze.
